Patton Homestead Inc

The Patton Homestead Inc has applied for 501(c)(3) non-profit status.

The mission of the Patton Homestead Inc is to support and preserve the historic Patton Homestead as a community asset and to provide educational, recreational and cultural opportunities.

The vision of the PHI is that the Patton Homestead is a historic place where families, the community and Veterans enrich their lives. They do so through cultural events, seasonal festivals, military focused programming, Veterans’ gatherings, social events and retreats.

In August 2018 the PHI signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Town of Hamilton to formalize its role in working with the Town on a wide variety of matters related to the property (strategic planning, operating & capital budgets, fundraising, reporting to Town meeting, etc).

The Board of Directors of the PHI is:

  • Susan Shelby

  • Edward Weldon

  • Patrick Reffert, (Director of Planning & Inspections for the Town) is an ex-officio member of the PHI board.
